Makefast has always prided itself in its long history of mentoring apprentices, and have had many success stories of young people embarking upon a career in manufacturing and engineering.

Following in the footsteps of apprentices Jen and Chris in our last issue, CMD’s own rising star Josh Bartlett has been successful in completing his HND qualification at Shrewsbury College, and has had further success at the GRAD EX Exhibition with the 2nd Place Award for a robotic arm he designed complete with a custom control system and 3D printed elements.
